it seems like it would be more helpful to give them agriculture equipment and money than an island they never had and probably don't even want full of people who don't think they're nigerien
Now Niger is getting Mayotte, Clipperton, Guiana, Polynesia, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Caledonia, Réunion, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Martin, Saint Pierre and Miquelon and Wallis and Futuna. Keep pushing and they're getting more islands.
I feel like there's a good one available about the Soviet occupation of Bornholm maybe.
