A covert campaign, commissioned by Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, was organized and funded last year to influence US lawmakers and the American public.
According to Israeli documents, the ministry allocated around $2 million to this operation and hired Stoic, a political marketing firm in Tel Aviv, to execute it.
The campaign created hundreds of fake accounts to impersonate real Americans on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, posting pro-Israel comments. These accounts specifically targeted US lawmakers, particularly Black Democrats
