Is it just me who finds "On The Run" pretty misplaced on Dark Side?

I really want to like the song, but I don't. It's not bad, not good, it's just noise for me. Kinda like an appetizer for the rest of the album maybe? But I wished there was something else there instead... how do others interpret the song and it's placement?
