Posts aren't marked as read on secondary account

I added a second lemmy account to Sync and on that second account posts aren't marked as read after I opened them. Sometimes they get marked as read after a reload, but only sometimes.

Is that a bug? Is there a solution?

There was a change in 0.19.5 which Sync needs to address.
- So, another 6 months until the Dev comes back? No updates in the last three months.
  
  Is there a good alternative app? Been thinking about moving to a FOSS app for a while anyway but so far couldn't find one that's as good as Sync.
- I just realized I also don't see points of posts and comments on that account. Is that due to the same reason?
  
  Nope, that should still show up.
