The New Jersey attorney general's office decided not to renew liquor licenses at Donald Trump's golf clubs following Trump's felony conviction for concealing hush-money payments to Stormy Daniels.

Liquor sales is a big way to launder money and bribe an owner. Cutting it off in NJ makes it harder for people in the area to do it.
Except that it's the same article from last week that says they're actually still selling it on a temporary license and will continue to do so until it goes to hearing and we all know what happens at Trump hearings.

They gave him an extension until mid-July, supposedly after the hush money sentencing is done. But now the hush money sentencing is pushed back two months because of the immunity decision, so who knows if or when.
