The Anthropocene: what does it mean to be living through Earth’s 6th mass extinction event? And what are we supposed to do?
It's not only individual species, but entire ecosystems that are collapsing.
I think we need to seriously start thinking about transplanting for example coral reefs into locations with a colder climate, although it will probably not help much in that specific case as the acidification of the ocean that makes it hard for the corals to form their exoskeleton is global issue.
And I get downvotes for perhaps suggesting that planting only endemic natives isn't the smartest idea.
I like your vision.
The ability to build starships is directly linked to the inability to leave shit alone.
Maybe another pandemic would help?
