First attempt at a Little Free Library, going live on 9/9!

No bible, 10/10.
- That is a big problem with Little Free Libraries- they get filled with religious junk. OP, please do your best to weed the books regularly.
  
  Yeah, not big on propaganda, I expect to see lots of Watchtowers, Books of Mormon, etc. Will be checking daily.
- Huge problem with these in my town. Some have two sections and say to keep religious texts in the designated one

- I keep hearing that but I couldn't get through it! It just didn't hold my attention.
  
  That’s how I feel about Neuromancer and most other cyberpunk books.
  
  Stormlight Archives blows mistborn out of the water for me personally.
  
  I found Snow Crash the easiest of his to get through. Love the Deliverator and Uncle Enzo. Would love a film version with Jason Momoa as Raven.

Maus, HHGTTG, Snowcrash. You've got a great selection there, fellow sci-fi fan! Hopefully others who borrow appreciate it as well.
- That's what I was think. Usually 90% of the books are, shall we say, there for a reason. But OP has seeded this library with some high quality material. Hopefully it stays that way!

Non-fiction section here:
- Maus is so powerful.
  
  Putting Maus, They Called us Enemy and Nat Turner may be too much in the initial batch, but we're on a school route and that's the sort of stuff they won't get in school. :)
- I have a copy of Maus II that Art Spiegelman signed and also drew a picture in because he messed up my name and felt bad. Nice guy.

  I separated them for the photos so you could see all the books.

I love the addition of Snow Crash. I never see SF books in free libraries.

- Fun fact: Circle of Cats and Cats of Tanglewood Forest are the same story. One is a kids picture book, the other a chapter book.

Is that your home address on the little sign? If so, you may want to crop that out of your photos.
Awesome Little Free Library though. We have several in our neighborhood and I really appreciate the community service.

I wish I had property with which to do this. During the pan, I would take long walks to neighborhoods surrounding me while listening to podcasts. I always noted where these appeared. I hope you have success spreading the joy of reading.
- When you register a library, they post it on the map in their app for your location so you can easily see all the Little Libraries around you!

I’m just here to say I love projects like these. Maybe I’ll be inspired to actually follow through and make one myself someday.
Recently started taking my toddler to the library and, despite being an avid reader, I’d forgotten how wondrous an experience it is.

I love little libraries! I stop and browse every time I walk past one in my city.
