Cancer is preventable now?
2 17 ReplyLiterally yes, it is, in plenty of scenarios. Smoking, for example, causes cancer. So if you get cancer as a result of smoking... that was preventable.
And deaths from cancer even more so. A lot of cancers can be extremely survivable if caught early.
Although the article talks about much more than just cancer.

I didn't say lung cancer was only caused by smoking. I said smoking causes cancer (and not just in the lungs, btw).
