In 2011 she effectively kept private prisons in power in california, by successfully opposing a supreme court ruling that required california to reduce its prison population. It's a huge issue that's going to swing a lot of voters away, so even confirmed blue voters (me) have ethical issues with her specifically.
Personally hoping J.B. Pritzker somehow rallies 300 delegates; he's low-scandal, has a great history with long-term job creation focus, and he looks like a soft doughy cookie.
