Just finished the game and DLC and feeling sad that it's over
I love the characters in this game and I don't feel emotionally ready to leave them yet. They're just too good. I'm kinda sad to hear they aren't doing a sequel, even though the game really suggests one heavily.
Does anyone here have some other similar games to suggest? Or maybe just a game with equally good characters? I feel I need to fill this void with something.
CrossCode is truly one a of a kind... The developers next game (currently just named "Project Terra") looks just as cool though! One game that kinda reminds me of CrossCode is "Unsighted". I've only played the demo so I cant judge the full game yet, although I will play it soon. It's still quite different, but some things like the combat felt pretty similar. You might wanna give it a look!
Unsighted is a comparison I’ve heard a few times, but I don’t really agree. The mood is too different and there’s little plot, I think those are important parts of CrossCode’s appeal.
Yeah, you are kinda right. Still, I can't think of many games that are very similar to CrossCode...
I felt the same way. There’s even a pair of players in Rhombus discussing this feeling!
I have looked for a long time for games with a similar vibe, unfortunately I haven’t really found anything.
