International Business News: Australian workers gained the right to ignore work-related contact outside designated hours under new legislation effective from Monday. Passed in Feb
My older colleagues looked at me like I was crazy, when I told them during a meeting that 1) they shouldn't communicate work stuff using their private messenger/Facebook 2) they shouldn't respond to messages outside workhours.
I thought I was suggesting some healthy boundaries, but I just got labeled as "too lazy to give a tiny bit of your free time". We need this shit codified, or else the "sacrifice-yoruself-for-work" generation won't listen.
