Same. I haven’t felt this much love for a new album in some time. Over 2hrs and it doesn’t feel bloated
2022's Dragon New Warm Mountain... by Big Thief is definitely worth checking out if you haven't already. It scratches the same thing for me but with more of a folk twist, plus I genuinely believe Adrienne Lenker is the best songwriter who's active right now.
If you listen to it from the start, the first three tracks may turn you off if you don't like country, but after that it's pretty straight lofi indie folk.
