What would you like to see from a hypothetical Limbo guide?
If anything? I feel like the scattered Limbo guides are mostly pretty comprehensive, but I am curious if there are any needs being underserved.
For a bit of context, I got back on my Limbo bullshit and I think it would be good to spread a bit of the Limbo propaganda. He's out of retirement and back in my daily driver roster, and I'd love to do a little to get people to look at the funny magic man again.
So I think subsections for a good solo build (probably the rift bomb nuke) and a good group build. I’d use limbo a lot more if I had a group friendly build but I don’t.
Then touch on some farming builds, I’ve heard he is good at finding the Caches in Sabotage but I don’t know the build for that? I’ve also heard he is good at spy missions? Someone told me also that he is great at survival and I don’t know how I see nothing in his kit that ties to that (other than the solo nuke build I guess).
Depending on the mission type presence of a Limbo is one of few things that's cause for me to drop from a mission. Group-unfriendly builds are just trolling.
I think the Limbomb build is essentially dead on SP. I couldn't get it scaling properly even with Panzer viral and fullstrip. For all I know it's bugged and doesn't properly account for the SP health multiplier, like how Oberon's Reckoning didn't used to account for the SP armour multiplier.
Survival techniques/tools would be helpful. It could also just be me being too used to Limbo before the eximus rework, and using the rift as a "panic button" expecting to be safe from eximus.
Specifically going through problems with him at launch and why they either no longer apply or how you can now counter them. I struggled through wringing MR from the 'frame when he was new and his Prime is currently slated for after Excalibur Prime for getting the MR from that.
Limbo has been through a few iterations, how about his current state and how the game has changed to give him tools to mitigate his pain points? For example, Zariman was kind of the Limbocalypse due to Overguard, but he has Fortifier and Magnetic to deal with that mechanic now. I also didn't join until 2015/didn't get seriously into Warframe until 2021, so I personally just can't speak for launch Limbo.
Sure, that'd work. Launch Limbo was a mess. By launch I'd probably mastered half of all non-prime warframes and with Limbo I had the persistent issue of being unable to so much as 1v1 a basic Grineer marine. Limbo would just die in as many shots as it'd take to kill an IRL human.
