Damn. They could be hitting the Kremlin?
- Not a military target, and definitely not an intelligence target.
  
  No, I know. I just know that Russia doesn't respect rules of engagement, so the thought has probably occurred to some of them.
  
  It isn't? AFAIK the whole decision making apparatus of the military and intelligence services are all there, neatly tucked between civilian stuff like museum etc..
- I'd guess the Kremlin has an air defense system and either the drone or the projectile would be shot down before it could do damage
  
  And even if not, that seems just inflammatory and way more easily harnessed for huge propaganda wins for Putin & co, as opposed to suffocating like hitting refineries, airfields or other similarly painful and impactful but also further-from-the-everyday-people’s-minds-and-eyes targets.
- Didn’t they hit a window in some FSB/war ministry building in Moscow a year or so ago?
  
  I seem to recall that attack was not claimed by Ukraine.

That AA artillery was really a show! ruzzkis know how to competently protect their assets.

- In this case, even without fire it would still be good. You’d want to hit the productive parts which would be hard to replace, and not necessarily the easily replaceable fuel tanks. The amount of fuel lost is one hit, while pretty can be replaceable, but if you make that surviving batch of fuel the last batch…
  
  We want the productive part to make big boom :(
