I have never seen the word elixir on a coffee shop menu.... With that being said... If I did see it this would be my exact reaction!
It's a short code for "everything on the menu is ~$3 more than it should be."
Last trendy coffee stop I visited, I told them I was offended by their prices and walked out.
Yeah, overpriced + wellness culture nonsense
8 bucks honestly isn't like super outrageous, it's in line with pretty much everything I can get where I am
This is the middle of Tennessee. Granted, a few miles out of a tourist town and a sprawling national park, but still Tennessee.
If this were Manhattan, I'd expect these prices.
