Everyone is telling them that they are repeating common liberal talking points that don't match up with reality nor do they consider the material conditions and political context of their time, and they just repeat the same "I found it on the internet so it must be true." Confused Idealism as well, they claim "political moderacy" has good values as well, as though midpoints are magically superior positions.
