Y'all have no idea how fucking stupid some of the people that I have to deal with when it comes to the coronavirus and the pandemic. It's amazing they even function in normal society or can make themselves a PB&J sandwich.
I always think of the phrase: "Imagine how dumb the average human is. Half the population is dumber than that."
Ackshually that would be the median human
Since IQ follows a normal distribution mean and median are the same.
At least on average.
Don't be mean.
Reminds me of Tommy Lee Jones in MIB: "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it."
A better way I like to use is: "Even if I'm the average person, half of all others are dumber than me". I may be above or below average, but I feel it gets the point across better because you have a reference point.
"What are the ingredients of a PB&J? I can only remember the mayonnaise."
