"Referencing" when it is almost a straight copy sounds a little light.
- Afaik that's simply what it is called in TV.. the Simpsons aren't considered to be copying shows and movies even if they do whole episodes with storyline or shot-for-shot recreations. It's a homage, a reference or a parody.
i think you could probably do this with just about every crime-drama show.
Thought this was a chiv 2 sub for a second and got confused lol
