Can I override Sonarr season numbers
I'm trying to finish grabbing a show, but Sonarr says the final season is #3, while the rest of the internet (i.e. torrent sites) says that season is #5. It looks like the first 2 seasons were split up into 1/2 seasons when originally shown. So while Sonarr is looking for Season 3, it's finding the first half of what it thinks is Season 2.
You can manually import them to the correct episodes. You should be able to go off of episode names. Sonarr uses the TVDB and that is also what Plex/Emby/Jellyfin use normally so those are the numbers you probably want.
Ahhh yes, the American Dad problem. Haven't found a solution yet.
Honestly just don’t use it for everything. Sometimes the Metadata isn’t good. That plus being highly opinionated makes some niche cases not suitable for sonarr
Same with Futurama.. but seems to import well when a proper release is out. Production seasons vs Aired seasons is a pain

Naked and afraid season 6 downloaded season 5. Torrent and files are season 5, but sonarr renamed files to season 6 names. How can I fix this now?
When looking at the series page, if you expand the seasons down to list the contained episodes, are all of the episodes there (even if not in the “correct” season)? Or are several seasons worth of episodes just not listed at all? Which show?
It's Disenchantment. I just grabbed Season 5 manually and I'm going to put them in there as Season 3. It's over anyway so I can just delete the show from Sonarr.
My sonarr has handled disenchantment fine, the files it grabbed are s5exx but they imported automatically as s3exx just fine. I didn't have to do anything.
That's weird. Mine just kept downloading the old season episodes.
Mine does that for futurama, but I just manually import that as they release.
