My daughter and I had fun talking about the bullshit the cop invited to talk to her health class had to say about drugs. Amazing the bullshit they try to push on kids.
- Friendly reminder that DARE (and almost certainly it's successors) was a proven failure.
  
  Turns out lying to kids and telling them that smoking pot is a terrible horrible dangerius thing makes them question what else isnt so bad.
  
  And they're still calling it dangerous and a "gateway drug."
  
  I remember sitting in one of these classes and thinking that LSD and Mushrooms sound fucking awesome.
  
  Turns out I was 100% correct.
Yup. Kids are generally smarter than we give them credit for. They're pretty good at telling when they're being fed bullshit like that.
