It has always been a more expensive, but not necessarily better, Chili's in my opinion. There's nothing they offered that I'd ever go there exclusively for.
There's one near me, I went once a couple months ago. I loved it. The food was pretty good for the price. I'd go again but haven't been able to spare the time.
There were never any locations near me so I've only eaten at Friday's a couple of times in the last 25 years. The food was good and the prices were fair from what I remember. I think this segment of the restaurant industry is just hit really hard by inflation. I'm really surprised there aren't a lot more bankruptcies in this segment.
Bankruptcy for large retail and restaurant chains is a scam to transfer a brand to venture capitalists. Brands will continue to operate, but immediately negates the value of ALL existing gift cards.
