Stupid move.
Russia already has chechens, Indian, African, north Korean, and Chinese soldiers. Why not give Ukraine a little proxy, as a treat?
Russian propaganda also claims that NATO is supporting Ukraine with its troops. But the reality is that there are no NATO troops in Ukraine.
I think at some point there were advisors or training staff, but yeah not on the front lines even though putin would have everyone believe they're fighting the entire might of NATO.
Don't forget the Belarusians. They've been involved since Day 1.
