Another week in the books. Let's chat about manga in the general discussion thread! Feel free to use this thread for questions, comments, recommendations, etc.
Like normal, please be careful with spoilers. I wrote a guide about spoilers in case you need a refresher on how to handle them (also linked in the sidebar).
This series came to an end this past week with chapter 91. It was a stupidly cute and silly series. It had pretty short chapters usually, so it is a pretty quick read as well. If you are just looking for silly romance with zero drama, then this is a pretty good fit.
This series is just about caught up with the raws after the TL put in a ton of work and blazed through chapters super fast. Overall, I have enjoyed this series, but not loved it. I think it has a lot of potential in that they are setting up interesting story hooks...but I am kind of doubtful that they are going to deliver in a meaningful way. The MC is just too single-mindedly focused on his younger sister. Yeah, it's one of those stories, kinda.
This one has been a lot of fun already, even after just seven chapters. Pairing an outgoing gyaru with a tsundere villainess just works so well. Really looking forward to more of this one to come.
Oh man, we are just three chapters from the end. I am not going to really discuss plot so as to avoid spoilers, but this has been a trip. I have no idea what will happen next and I highly doubt that everything can possibly be wrapped up in just three chapters. I am just on Aka's wild ride and hanging on for dear life.
I've been pretty busy with job hunting lately so I can't focus on reading as much as I'd like but I managed to catch up with The Moon on a Rainy Night and the new chapter of Berserk so that's something. Not like my usual series update at the moment anyway... (。•́︿•̀。)
Good luck with the job hunt! Last time I was looking, it took a couple months. However, I was fortunate that I was able to look while still at my old job, so there wasn't too much urgency. Also, in my field, the interview process is long, consisting of multiple rounds, presentations, etc.
I'm going to need it. I've been on a break for a while and even thinking about going back to corporate environment drains any and all motivation to apply for anything. At least recruitment process isn't as convoluted in my case...
