Sanders should have president TWICE now, but he got betrayed by his party.... He would have won the election in 2016
- The tough thing is he would never have won a general election, and the Democrat party knew it. That's part of why they shafted him. They still shouldn't have done that though.

  Yeah the real problem is the incumbent political power structure. Voting is just a garnish after they have already decided everything. It's a broken system. First past the post voting is crippling US politics
If only he did this in 2016 instead of grovelling at the corporate Dems feet and destroying all credibility he built up by trying to gaslight the left into voting for the opposite of his beliefs three elections in a row.

Between his behavior over the last few years and his spotty support of genocide, I don't believe he means these words, he simply wants more money before he dies. I suspect another book release soon.
