  This is the one I think:
The problem is that they aren't intentionally being a snitch, they just know that when they find the thing with the weird smell they get a treat. It's like how if you feed your cat every day at 6:30 you no longer need an alarm because the cat will let you know when it's 6:00, but with finding drugs.
- My roommate got out of that trap by only feeding the cat after he showers. So now the cat is obnoxious while he's showering, but at least he can sleep in.
  
  I got out of it by feeding them before I go to bed
Cats are not bros. They are chaotic neutral but they look cute doing it.
