There are a couple coworkers that I assume want to see me fired with them making lies about my behavior at work (one has mentioned before wanting my shifts, the other I see through their narcissistic antics that they brag about that I no longer put up with; they’re both a recipe for this to possibly succeed).
After another encounter in the manager’s office with my narc coworker with lies upon lies of things I did not do and being berated with divisive language and triangulation, I decided to block everyone I work with’s number so they can no longer text me outside of work until I find another job. Unfortunately in this economy, quitting isn’t an option without something lined up.
I can no longer tell who to trust at my work when certain coworkers treat me one way yet the coworkers I have issues with say otherwise. I don’t want to know anything outside of work, and don’t want to be bothered if I’m not getting money to deal with the anxiety of it all. I have diagnose cptsd that I seek professional help for, I can’t afford to lose my shit over any more gaslighting.
We have an app that they can contact me through; that is the boundary I have set. Need me to take a shift? Talk through appropriate channels, not my personal phone. And maybe, I might get to you if I notice it. Year after year, my team effort and hard work gets taken advantage of from management to my helping hands. I’m no longer obligating myself to making sure people are taking care of if I’m being disrespected to the point of panic attacks. It’s not worth the deterioration of my mental health and well being.
