Best experience for Steam Deck piracy? SteamOS, Bazzite or something else?

I'm just wondering what people's experience is like in cases where they mostly play pirated games

In my experience, doesn't matter. You can use lutris/bottles or install on a windows pc and copy files to the Deck and it'll work, the distro is irrelevant in this case.
I stick with Steam OS because I don't see any real world benefits of changing to another distro
- Yeah same here, I just install on my laptop using Lutris and then copy the installed folder over to the Steam Deck and add the main .exe as a non-Steam game. (And turn wifi off just to be safe.) Always worked fine for me so far.
  
  Why are you not doing all of this on the Steam Deck instead? I guess you are not using it docked so its more convenient on a laptop or is there another reason?

Any distro will work. I have tried bazzite, cachyos, endeavouros and had same experience with gaming. In all the distros lutris was common.

None of them will give you a truly different experience. The benefit to something like Bazzite is the almost zero maintenance and the fact that it comes with everything you need without additional work.
