3.5 GW what? Per day? Per year? Over the lifetime of the factory?
Few articles seem to mention it, but:

It is just power, not energy. Letting it run for an hour would result in 3.5 GWh.
You let the factory run for an hour and it makes 3.5 GW of solar panels?
Why did they build it in a state with so much exposure to climate disasters? The South is going to stop being a liveable place within our lifetime.
Any state could be argued to be exposed to climate disasters if you only look at a small area so I completely disagree with what point you’re making.
Here’s a map. The facility is being built somewhere in York County. York County is very well inland.
