Is it really that excellent? Big "how do you do fellow kids" energy with this one. They all look like they could be the star of a cult classic gritty animated film noir feature about anthropomorphic animals set in wartime 1940s brooklyn. Call it "The primal inside me" or something, get that triple entendre going for it.

You can sort of get it by watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The Weasels from Disney's Wind in the Willows short film were adapted for the film perfectly as the Toon Patrol. Not only were the weasels already gangster-like thugs in the original, but the style is so well executed and to top it all off is the chefs kiss of naming them like the Seven Dwarves. Smartass, Greasy, Psycho, Wheezy, and Stupid.
