'Mindhunter' Is Dead — So Stop Asking David Fincher About It!
‘Mindhunter’ isn’t coming back for Season 3, so grieve, cope, and move on with your life.

Can't exactly blame Fincher for that outcome. Jonathan Groff said as much, Mindhunters is Fincher. The creator of the show is part of its DNA. Would you really want Fincher to hand it off to someone and potentially pull a Dexter or GOT S8?

It’s like Netflix has never heard of a “loss leader”. People don’t pay exorbitant subscription fees to watch the latest Project Runway knock off show.
I also find it difficult to believe it’s more expensive than the average TV drama, considering Fincher already has a development deal with the network.

Well MAYBE if you hadn’t set up a massive cliffhanger and spent pretty much all of season 2 reading season 3, we would be fine with it. But you didn’t.

Season 1 fucking rocked me to my core. It was intense.
Mindhunter is one of the reasons why I like to wait until a show has concluded before I commit to watching it, especially dramas.
I still enjoyed my time watching this show. Yeah it sucks that we're not getting another season, but at least it's not over 5 seasons long and all the stories just stop.
