Too bad Biden wasn't a bulwark against trump.
- he's actively helping them now as exemplified by the escalations in isreal and ukraine along with the anti-transgender bill.
- There's not much Biden can do that can't be undone in the next administration. Especially since he wasn't running for re-election. Should he have stepped aside sooner? Sure. But ultimately, if people didn't want Trump, they should have voted for Harris. That was the true bulwark against him and the MAGA agenda...
  EDIT: Downvote all you want, but unpopularity for Harris doesn't change the fact that it was a binary choice: Trump/Not Trump. (Not voting was also a vote for Trump) Our feelings about the Democratic Candidate don't affect the reality...

Too bad nary a one was on the high court which can nullify any lower court’s decision they don’t like.

They have a judicial highway to a captured SCOTUS. Not a single other judge in the country matters in regards to rulings about government power. The Democrats had years to fix it and instead they gave the corporations more welfare.
- The best we'll see is some delay until the appeal gets to the Supremes and Alito channels the voices of dead Founders to deliver a conclusion exactly the same as what the Heritage Foundation wants.
