All governments are Authoritarian, I'm still waiting for proof that Russia is doing anything of the sort (no, rescuing orphans from war-torn cities is not mass deportations of children it is humanitarian aid, many such cases exist around the world of NATO aligned countries doing the exact same thing).
There is a history of evidence of the Donbass bombing before the SMO, and that was a targeted attempt to ethnically cleanse a region, however this was perpetrated by the Azov nazis. The classification of the Uyghurs as a genocide has been disputed by many Islamic countries, as well as the UN itself.
What country has systemic and codified apartheid? Strange claim to make, lol
The US currentlyruns a system of slave labor camps, has been bombing Muslims and Africans for decades, and Europe has been doing the same for hundreds of years. Are these trustworthy sources of information to tell you about their enemies?
They aren't left enough for the tankies. If you don't want to resolve NATO and burn America/the west to the ground you aren't left enough. You are clearly a filthy conservative liberal if you think otherwise. Also, Tianamen square didn't happen and neither did all the people Stalin massacred and all the body counts from the great leap forward under Mao are totally made up.
Yeah pretty much. I've had issues with them too. Isn't the whole point of marxism that you're supposed to point out contradictions?
Like you can give them the benefit of the doubt because nobody wants to deal with shitheads coming in and posting the same reactionary shit over and over again but it just feels a little too tempting to turn that onto people who bring up something you don't have an answer for.
You're not bourgeois if you oppress the working people by turning labor unions into agents of the party and ending their ability to meaningfully participate in government decisions or dissent from those decisions, or eliminate their ability to negotiate their own compensation for their labor, or their ability to start their own businesses. It's only oppression if capitalism because capitalism bad
I think it's really how childish most of them are.
I agree with many things said, but laugh at how 14 year olds think they understand the world better than others simply because something online said something they agreed with.
Most of them say things that validate the fact they haven't stepped foot outside their own western country, but seem to know everything about China and Russia based solely on propaganda. It's hilarious, really
If there's one thing I'm grateful for, is that the only thing maladjusted internet weirdos are capable of getting done in the real world is being shoved into lockers. The left are out getting shit done, organizing and unionizing. The right are out dying of covid and losing it all to crypto.
It's real. I did it as a screenshot because I don't want a bunch of people bigrading the original post.
From what I understand lemmy outright lacks the great anti-brigading resources that reddit has, meaning one community can just come in and dogpile on a post in a completely other community and there's no way for anyone to defend against it or even know it's happening. If you don't know just how toxic that is to the website, realize that reddit literally goes as far as to protect leftists when they get dogpiled by nazis. Same site which does everything in its power to suppress anything left of hitler if it can get away with it. Yeah, it's that important.
