Brother hasn’t let me down in a decade.
- I went with an Epson Ecotank. Cried a little at first (that price tag had hands..) but it's paid for itself.
  
  I bought the HP Smart Tank version (how bad could it be I thought) and it sucks. Doesn't need cartridges but is garbage in every other way. Like, needs manual help feeding the first few pages bad.
