CVS Is Turning Locked Shelves Into an Excuse to Make You Download Its App
The store is trialing a feature to let customers unlock cabinets with their phone.
I'll either still ask an employee or just shop elsewhere. Fuck giving a company that much access to my phone for any reason.
Yeah no..I'll either use the in store paging system to call someone to the shelf, or just break your stupid plastic lock.

lol. 😂 The only app I’d open in that case is Amazon. I can even scan the product to get the same one.
I have done this in stores that made it difficult to give them money. I have gotten items same day from Amazon without paying for expedited shipping.
So what? Who buys anything but pharmaceuticals at CVS? You have to be a moron to shop there.

The problem isn’t that it’s locked it’s that they don’t account for extra staff needed to unlock the cases. It’s both together that make it my problem instead of their problem.
