I am sure that the orange faced turd will go far enough that any lgbt will be in a situation to seek asylum in Canada or Europe... and it is sad and I feel deeply sorry for them
- I've joked with European friends about how far does the US have to fall before I can claim refugee status. It feels bittersweet to see the joke become a real question.

Just an FYI, here is a petition from 2 years ago (on the official government petition website) with 160,000 signatures, and the government's response

TL;DR we already allow refugee claims based on gender discrimination and we're not loosening the stringency of criteria. Get fucked.
