  • Hang on. The whole design of the standard Lego brick is that it has holes on one side and nubs on the other. Legos aren't male or female, they're both.

    Maybe this article is misunderstanding a critique of the language we use to describe parts fitting together, not the parts themselves.

  • wouldn't that mean most blocks are intersex or whatever the social version of dual gendered is, because almost all blocks have parts that insert and parts that receive?

    I am struggling to entertain the comparisons.
