Trump fires government ethics boss

The president removed the head of the Office of Government Ethics after his appointment in December to a five-year term.

He probably doesn't know the difference between ethics and ethnics, so he fires them all..
- To be fair, he has nothing but contempt for both.

Does he have the power to do so in this case? Many of his 'firings' are illegal and invalid.
