This is already low enough, but to do it when the country's already facing difficult times.... frak, ship 'em to mars or something.

Is there a way to know when a link is gonna be a video I can't watch or listen to right now?
- I personally generally much prefer text content, and get disappointed when I click and get a video or audio instead
  
  Same. Not that I don't want them, just that I want to know before I click because a lot of the time I can't be watching or listening to something but could read it.
- Are you on desktop or mobile? Doesn't it provide the link?
  I use Voyager app and I can see that's a video, it shows me the photo with the link under.
  
  I'm on Lemmy connect and it shows only a little paperclip "link" icon. But no hint that it's gonna be a video, unless all paperclip links are links?
