Question about a detail in the last episode of Jury Duty

Hi, in the last episode of the TV show Jury Duty, they mentioned how the actors had to eat multiple lunches every day, or something like that. They said something about the importance of the timing of the lunch order, but I didn't understand. Can someone explain?
