Sigh. The Australian federal election is a couple of months away. The WA premier is a member of the center-left party (same as federal) but of a conservative state, dependent on fossil fuels. He is a fossil fuel industry cuck (e.g. Manchin), and would likely be better off with a conservative federal gov.
I can't help but feel this is a tactic to draw attention to Australia and create geopolitical issues for the current PM, along with divisive soundbites for Murdochs fash propaganda machine.
