idk why i bother with trying to convince people who don't want to be convinced that e.g. climate change is real and needs solving or that e.g. Armenia needs help
yeah, I mostly just go to protests about democracy cuz I think it's more important and more likely to see change but it's so fucking frustrating how much people just go "oh yeah you're blindly trusting politicians? Where's the plan and how do you know they're trustworthy and how do you know that they're not all part of a globalist conspiracy" etc etc.
I suppose the presence of figures like Matt Gaetz in parliament really shows how representative democracy is working...
What the fuck is the WC2030 format. Didn't they learn their lesson from UEFA doing Euro 2020?? I feel bad for the 3 other teams that have to play in South America
Andres Cordero, is awful. "The final chapter in the Gordie fairytale" mmm no. This is the start if anything. Ray Hudson is a character so I can see how he can be annoying. He's funny to me. But Cordero doesn't cut it. He commentates like it is a NFL game.
Man City, Chelsea, Sevilla is a good test of championship character. I think if we can pass the test, especially with Saka and Martinelli out, we can gain immense belief and confidence. Being champions, would become quite likely.
Arteta is too stubborn. We're going to get Vieira for Saka. Maybe a double pivot with Rice and Partey with Havertz benched (which i doubt will happen).
I know lemmy.world seems to have adopted dark mode as the default, but is there any way for this sub to change it back to light mode? Dark mode here makes it unusable for people with astigmatism.
