When was the last time you thought "I'm an adult now, I don't really care"

For me it's with my gf's parents. When I was a teenager, I would usually try to get their approval, so they wouldn't think their daughter is dating a "bad person", whatever that means.

Nowadays, I have my job, we have our flat, we live our own lives. Of course I'm respectful, and try to be nice to them, but I can also raise boundaries if needed.

I had 2 ice cream bars the other day

I'm a middle school teacher. So much social stuff my students are worried about... I really just don't care
