I searched for 'games' in communities but didn't see anything skimming through the pages that fit.

It sounds like a great community to create, to be honest. I guess certain questions could go into !likethismaylike@lemm.ee or !patientgamers@sh.itjust.works but I think gaming suggestions is distinct enough to warrant its own community. And since it's gaming related it should be able to garner enough activity even at the current MAU level.

No, I don't think so. On one hand I'd love to see this, r/gamingsuggestions is one of the few things I still look at Reddit for, on another I'm not sure how much activity it would see right now.
