Technically Northern Ireland is not a constituent country, it's officially just part of the UK proper. But that gets really confusing. This is also the reason it has no official flag.

Before I check, let's see if I'm right....
England....wales....Ireland....Scotland....and I don't think northern Ireland is considered part of the UK since it's independent. Gonna look it up now.
