and remove random socks and underwear with tears or holes! Nothing just slightly improves your day than knowing you can pull out any pair and be good to go
Just buy one and the same. No more pairing socks. Throw em in a drawer and any 2 socks you pull out are always matching. When 1 gets a hole you also don't need to throw out the pair.
This lpt gets repeated fairly often but I can't believe anyone actually follows it. How dull is life if you really only have one style of sock?
You're downvoted idk why. I mean I have only the same black socks, and a couple of pairs that guy gifted to me.
I default to my blacks as they are exactly what I like. The thickness, the length, the elasticity. I sometimes wear the other socks when I'm meeting those that gifted them but it's always slightly awkward and just not there.
I do have colorful options in almost every but of other clothing, however in socks I'm pretty particular.
However I wouldn't downvote anyone on different sock particularities, you go ahead with your flashy socks!

You can do the same with happy socks, all of the same size. Pick any two, and you're almost guaranteed to have a fitting, happy pair that doesn't match. If they do, just repick one. Though I would never replace them just for holes.
Wool socks. They are wonderful.
Sockocalypse - buying socks in bulk so they always match. When socks wear out, you throw them out until you run low on critical mass, throw them all out and sockocalypse again.
