Badgey would probably scare them. They could rip the eyepiece and cortical node right off a drone.

That would be a good defense mechanism .... keep a captive Peanut Hamper exocomp on every starship.
When the Borg attack and scan the ship and see the exocomp ...... "We do not wish to assimilate you" ... (then fly away and leave)
