Another House Democrat seeks to go to El Salvador

Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-Ill.) is the latest Democratic trying to organize an official congressional delegation to El Salvador, Axios has learned.
Ramirez, in a letter to House Homeland Security Committee chair Mark Green (R-Tenn.) first obtained by Axios, requested he authorize an official CODEL to El Salvador.
Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) traveled to El Salvador on Wednesday, but officials refused to let him visit an erroneously deported Maryland man who the Supreme Court has ordered returned to the United States.

Ramirez, in a letter to House Homeland Security Committee chair Mark Green (R-Tenn.) first obtained by Axios, requested he authorize an official CODEL to El Salvador.
Given that the Administration's use of CECOT for illegal and unconstitutional deportations is rife with 'administrative errors' ... I urgently request a CODEL to conduct oversight," she wrote.

Reps. Jason Smith (R-Mo.) and Riley Moore (R-W.Va.) both shared photos of themselves at the notorious maximum security prison on Wednesday in posts on X praising the administration's deportation policies.

The delegation will not be allowed to see him or take his body back. Because no matter this guy’s status, it’s in the best interest of many that he never be seen again.
But the politicians going there will make pretty speeches which will have zero insight about how to stop others from meeting the same fate.
Perhaps those in congress, while making regular trips back and forth to help him and others, can be supported by public contributions, or even help for their campaigns later? Not that they would ask, of course. But others have, I have seen it.
All the politicians making a profit from this should give a percentage to his family, it’s only fair
I think all of congress should be required to go to El Salvadore, as well as trump and all of his cabinet.
Anyone who thinks things are fine there, should have to stay there for one week... then be brought back ASAP.
