Harry Potter series? Haven't heard of it
I've been saying that HP would have worked way better as a TV series, the movies skip a lot of world building stuff and side stories.
That being said, it could still turn out to be a soulless cash grab.
Agree with this. I think the world building of HP is vastly superior to the narrative. A slower progression of the story can only help.

Depends on the director, but Rowling will probably insist on being involved.
I want to hear more concrete details before I decide if I want to bother with it.
As a person who was a potterhead before they even made any movies, I am personally thrilled they're taking another stab at the property. I personally feel like the casting for most of the characters was quite poor. So I'm thrilled to see what another production will do with the HP universe.
Not enough information yet to decide what to think. Silly question.
