The ruling, which is limited to the Southern District of Texas, prohibited the administration from using the wartime law because the president’s claims about a Venezuelan gang do not add up to an “invasion.”
Also of note, the judge was a Trump appointee
- I feel like everything past "...some people voted for him" needs a citation or ten.
  I have not heard of any credible claims of election fraud for 2024 no matter how much I wish there was (even if it makes no difference except for slightly restoring some of my lost faith in humanity).
We are not at war and there is no reason this should be used.
Is that also the law Trump says lets DHS search people's homes without a warrant, on the pretext that they're looking for migrants?
Wait, I didn't think the allegiances in that civil war movie were likely
- The only unbelievable part of that movie was the Texas and California alliance.
