Alternative to Bobbi Brown's Extra Soothing Balm

This Soothing Balm from Bobbi Brown is the only thing I've found that helps with the itching, redness, and overall irritation I get sometimes on crease of the wings of the nose, which I was treating with corticoid cream (as per doctor advice) until I tried this.

Now I'm running low and I haven't been able to find it in Denmark.

I cannot even find it on their official website, and the listings I can see are all from the UK or the USA, and I've had all my purchases from both grabbed by customs with terrible consequences for my purse…

Anyone knows of an alternative I can find in Denmark or European Union?

I looked up the ingredients in the balm you loved and it mostly contains very moisturising oils and butters like shea butter.
A brand that behaves very well with my sensitive skin is Avene, they are known for having skincare with few ingredients and a whole line specifically for sensitive and allergic skin.
They have a "Tolerance Contol Balm" that contains shea and squalane, an oil that closely mirrors the skins natural oils.

Make sure you get the balm and not the cream as they are completely different formulas.
I would also consider trying the cleansing lotion they recommend, as it would be very gentle on the skin. It is possible for some people to react to water, and something like a cleansing lotion that you rub in gently then wipe off with a damp cloth might help!

I have been using The Ordinary's Squalane Cleanser for ages now, and it works the same way. No soap, just rubbing a gentle cream on and wiping off with a damp cloth.

Hm, I hope this is at all helpful, but could you work with your derm to find the right thing? I've had bad luck with standard skincare stuff for medical skincare issues.

  I went to several dermatologists and they all prescribed a corticosteroid cream. I brought this balm to my current one and he just said to continue using it if it worked. A bit of a joke considering my current situation…
  Been quite unlucky with dermatologists in general to be honest.

  Do you have any idea what it is about that specific product that works? eg, does it create an occlusive layer, is it super hydrating, does it strengthen your skins natural barrier, etc? If so, that might be a starting point?
